A custom backpack with your logo is a fantastic long-lasting promotional tool. Marketing experts predict that over three thousand customers will see a custom embroidered backpack. We offer so many backpack styles that you should first understand the key features to make an informed buying decision.
The most common fabrics for backpacks are Cotton, Polyester, Nylon, and a high-quality brand name fabric called Cordura.
Their thickness and density categorize backpack fabrics. The technical term for this is "Denier," abbreviated D. The fabric with a higher D number will be stronger. For example, a 400D pack will have thinner material than one made from 600D fabric. However, this strength difference does not translate across different fabrics. For instance, A 450D nylon is much stronger than 600D polyester fabric. When comparing fabric denier, fabric types must be the same.
A small fabric loop on top of the pack allows for hand carry. The adjustable shoulder straps let you carry the load on one or both shoulders.
Some packs have a sternum strap that connects the shoulder straps. That prevents the shoulder straps from slipping and distributes weight to the chest.
Some packs come with a waist belt. The waist belt transfers 70-80% of the weight to your hips for long treks through the airport. Most packs provide an option to remove the waist belt and sternum strap.
A simple drawstring backpack has one large internal pocket. Other styles will have several pockets and zippered organizers.
If you plan to carry a laptop, padded storage pockets are essential. Look for packs with padded compartments or removable padded sleeves.
Most packs provide external mesh pockets for quick storage of water bottles or your cell phone. Some offer an elastic bungee if you need to stash a jacket or sweatshirt quickly.

All the packs we sell are of good quality, and you can't sell junk and keep customers happy. Price differences in packs are due to fabrics and their features. The brand names like The North Face and Patagonia use light but durable materials, which cost more. The less expensive packs use heavier, less technical fabrics and may offer fewer pockets, less padding, less water resistance. It's essential to read the product descriptions carefully.
Backpacks have a pair of wide shoulder straps. Sling packs have a single large strap for one-shoulder carry. Drawstring bags have strings that cinch the top of the bag shut. Those same strings are used straps for shoulder carry. Drawstring bags are good for transporting small light items like shoes, jackets, light sporting equipment.
Corporate Casuals does not have a minimum order size. One exception is Under Armour where we are required to sell at least three pcs, but you can mix and match any color, style, or size.
